Onwai is an online marketplace and platform intended to connect Drivers with transport and logistics Companies. Onwai is not itself the employer, employee, recruitment agency, transport operator or a party to an employment agreement between a Driver and a Company, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific service.
By creating an account you must actively accept these Terms using the acceptance checkbox in the registration form. Acceptance is explicit; it does not rely on a passive statement.
Users must have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms. A Company representative confirms that they are authorised to create and manage the Company account and to provide Company information. Users must comply with applicable law.
Onwai may require e-mail verification. No person or entity may impersonate another person or organisation.
Drivers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they provide, including professional experience, licences, certificates, availability and other profile information.
Onwai verification or review indicators do not guarantee identity, qualifications, legal eligibility to work, performance, suitability or the accuracy of every user statement. Companies remain responsible for appropriate recruitment and employment checks.
Companies are responsible for accurate Company information, lawful vacancies, lawful recruitment practices, salary, benefit and working-condition representations, required licences and qualifications, and compliance with employment, immigration, transport and other applicable law.
Onwai may moderate vacancies before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Application — a Driver expresses interest in a specific vacancy. Invitation — a Company invites a Driver regarding an opportunity. Connection — a marketplace relationship established following an accepted application or invitation, according to current Onwai functionality.
Onwai does not guarantee a response, interview, offer, contract or employment.
Users may communicate through Onwai where platform rules allow. Messages must not be used for unlawful content, harassment, fraud, spam, malware, the unauthorised collection or distribution of personal data, or other prohibited activity.
Professional documents may be shareable only where Onwai functionality permits. Identity documents are not currently shareable through Messages.
Drivers may upload supported professional documents. Onwai may review documents for platform purposes. A review or verification indicator means only the level of review explicitly described by Onwai. It is not a government certification, a legal qualification determination, an employment guarantee or a substitute for Company due diligence.
Passport or National ID upload is optional and subject to the separate Identity Document Privacy Notice shown before upload.
Onwai may provide match or compatibility information based on Driver profile data and vacancy criteria. Match percentages and statuses are informational tools. They are not guarantees, do not constitute employment decisions, do not replace human assessment and may be limited by missing or inaccurate user data.
Onwai may review, reject, restrict or remove content that violates these Terms, is unlawful, is misleading or fraudulent, creates a security risk, violates the rights of others or is inappropriate for the marketplace. Where appropriate, Onwai may request corrections.
Onwai may suspend or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary for Terms violations, suspected fraud or abuse, security, unlawful activity, protection of users and the platform, or legal requirements.
You may request account closure through support@onwai.me. Suspension does not automatically erase records that Onwai lawfully needs to retain.
Onwai currently does not process payments. The displayed Driver price of €4.99 per month is currently informational and is not a currently charged recurring subscription. No payment card or bank data is currently collected by Onwai.
Onwai may introduce paid subscriptions or paid features. Before a user becomes bound to a paid service, Onwai will provide the applicable price, billing frequency, taxes where applicable, renewal and cancellation conditions and other material payment terms. These Terms will be updated before any paid launch.
Current free Company access may be promotional or temporary. Onwai may introduce Company pricing in the future, with appropriate notice and terms before any charge applies. Nothing here is a promise of indefinite free access.
The Onwai platform design, software, branding and original content belong to SIA "NPL Ventures" or its applicable licensors. Users retain rights to content they lawfully provide and grant Onwai the limited rights necessary to host, display, process and transmit that content for the purpose of providing the service. Users must hold the rights to the content and documents they upload.
Onwai relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers. Links to external websites or services do not mean that Onwai controls their content, privacy practices or availability.
Onwai aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents and third-party failures may affect availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Onwai does not guarantee employment, Driver availability, Company suitability, the accuracy of all user-generated information, the success of applications or invitations, match outcomes or uninterrupted service. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, Onwai is liable only for damage caused by its own breach of these Terms in accordance with applicable law. Users remain responsible for their own employment, recruitment and business decisions and for their own compliance obligations.
Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Identity-document processing also uses the separate identity notice shown before upload.
Onwai may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate, and appropriate notice or re-acceptance will be implemented where legally or operationally required.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections that apply under applicable EU or member-state law. Disputes should first be raised through support@onwai.me.
